When processing a participant, why do I receive a message 'E-mail not sent. There is no e-mail message template selected for this Award'?

If you see the message 'E-mail not sent. There is no e-mail message template selected for this Award.' Make sure you have set up an email template and that you have associated it with the award for the participant's scenario. 

If you see the message 'E-mail has been successfully queued to be sent.' then your email was sent.
